* Wedderlie Mardi Gras LOM/AOE (USA)

Palomino Section B Welsh Pony.

Standing at 13 hands, Section B Welsh Pony stallion, *Wedderlie Mardi Gras combines the absolute best of the Welsh breed - superb type, exceptional presence, breathtaking flat kneed movement with a huge stride, and correct, balanced conformation with a truly lovely disposition. He has plenty of bone and substance, good limbs, exceptional hindquarters with the most wonderful loin and hip, a short back and excellent length of rein. His head is perfection, topped by tiny sage-leaf ears and large, expressive eyes. In addition, he is both hardy and sound. The quality and talent of his offspring have resulted in him twice being the WPCSA's Sire of the Year, which means he beat out every other Welsh stallion in the USA for winning progeny showing at WPCSA rated shows. Mardi Gras earned this for both 2010 and 2011.
