Hollybank Antonio had a terrific start to his show career. As a yearling, at his first ever outing, at the New Zealand Agricultural Show Antonio was Supreme Welsh Exhibit and went on to take out the Supreme All Breeds Award. 

Next up at Nelson A&P Show he scored an RAS Royal Champion and medal.  At the Southland Welsh Show in Gore he was the Supreme Purebred Welsh Exhibit and was awarded a NZWPS Silver Medal and the Vi Nicholls Memorial Salver.  At the South Island Premier Show he was again Supreme Welsh Exhibit. Antonio’s first show season was then topped off by Supreme Inhand Exhibit and the Overall Supreme Exhibit of the Show at the Canterbury Welsh Show where he was awarded a NZWPCS Gold Medal.  He was also the winner of the NZWPCS Punga Trophy for the most points overall in the 2018/19 show season.

Antonio had another successful show season as a two year old, another Royal Champion and Supreme Purebred at Otago Taieri A&P Show, Supreme Welsh at the NZ Agricultural Show and many other champions, together with a trip to the North Island for Horse of the Year where he finished third in the Youngstock Welsh Pony of the Year.  He was again the winner of the NZWPCS Punga Trophy for 2019/20.

Antonio is a quality, true to type welsh pony with an exceptional temperament and fabulous movement.  He has now been retired from the show ring to commence stud duties.
