Amaranda Charmian was originally imported to New Zealand from Australia as a weanling and purchased by Hollybank Stud in 2013. 

A huge moving mare, Charmian has a wealth of famous Weston bloodlines, including Weston Cottonwood, Weston Mary Ann, Weston Picture, Weston Chilo, Weston Olympian, Weston Choice and Weston Princess Mandy.

Charmian produced some lovely ponies for Hollybank, including Hollybank Choirboy (Lemonshill Top Note) and Hollybank Crusader (Nawarrah Park Lady’s Man) who both won their Welsh Title Classes at HOY 2020.  She hadn’t yet left us a filly when sadly in 2019 she was struck down by a mystery illness which after a 4 month battle she was not able to recover from.
